Cathy Gallaher - President / Owner

As President and Owner of a WBE/DBE Steel Fabricator, Cathy's background in Operations Management allows her, in conjunction with senior staff members, to set the many strategies for the company. These include setting long range goals, plans and policies, as well as oversee implementation of financial managment programs, operations, production, establishing quality thresholds and goals, customer development and relationship management. Having been in the business world since graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Cathy has consulted and partnered with business units at Fortune 500 companies, diagnosed performance issues at small and mid-sized businesses. She has always been an entrepreneur at heart and is driven by the success her customers enjoy.
Scott Bates - Vice President Operations & Sales

Scott has been in the steel fabrication industry since 2000 and a member of the Commercial Fabrication team for more than 9 of those years. Scott's role is vital to the success of Commercial Fabrication customers as well as the company. He oversee's all areas of manufacturing to produce products and direct activities to ensure AISC compliance, quality standards, cost objectives and schedule adherence. His knowledge and experience in steel fabrication business, and acute managment principles allow for efficent resource allocation, production methodology and coordination of people and hard resources.
John Cota - Operations Manager/Purchasing Manager

John graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2003. He did this all the while he was employed full time at a local steel fabricator where he was the division manager for 19 years. John has an uncanny ability to communicate ideas, manage personnel, negotiate contracts, prepare material and labor bids, and run very complex projects. His experience in design-build projects have consistently delivered the value engineering services so many steel fabricators lack prior to the design phase.
Sam Thies - Estimator / Project Manager

Sam graduated from Bradley University with a Construction Management major and Business Administration minor in 2014. While at school Sam repeatedly demonstrated leadership skills necessary for growth in the construction arena. He was the Vice President of the AGC of America student chapter, completed a 7 month construction management work study program as well as interned at an engineering firm where he performed quantity takeoff on a $10 million project, inspected and monitored field work and operations for quality control and compliance with IDOT specifications, and prepared daily material reports and EEOC files. Since joining Commercial Fabrication in 2014 Sam has worked on projects as large $1 million and in a variety of verticle markets including commerical retail, hospitality and healthcare.
Duane Raab - Quality Shop Supervisor (QSS)

Duane has over 30 years experience in steel fabrication having worked as a supervisor, project manager, machine programmer, deailer, purchasing agent, working foreman, fitter/welder and machine operator. He supervises all production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Coordinating with the Operations Manager, Duane oversees the fabrication shop, painting facility, loading of all shipments, inventory control, storage and shop supplies. He is also responsible for all OSHA Log compliance, maintains and reports al workplace injuries. Duane is well versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities managment best practices.
Stephen Womack - Project Controller

Stephen graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL) and is an experienced and resourceful manager who is highly organized and works with the project manager's to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. He monitors all works in progress, coordinates bid schedules, maintains relationships with subcontractors, coordinates all change orders and manages the Commercial Fabrication Project Documentation Program.
Dana Hanley - Office Manager

Dana graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. in Health Services Management. She is an experienced and resourceful manager wth significant experience in both large corporate consumer product sales, and non-profit health services. Dana is responsible for all functions pertaining to HR, day-to-day office managment including inventory control, budgeting, contract and price negotiations and on-boarding of new hires. Additionally, Dana assists in all accounts payable and receivable functions.
